Insanity in the rose garden…

If you know me, you know I don’t talk politics unless it relates to my novel series universe. That hasn’t changed. However, I do have a purpose for this post. I finally have images of my characters. I talked in the past about how I used Jamie Andries and others to help picture Gwen and the others in my mind. That’s great for me. Not so great when it comes time for covers or making other properties.

I am trapped which what they do. I have been thankful Ms. Andries had a very robust cheer career, loves to model and travel so I could see various sides of her personality. Yet she isn’t Gwen. Nor was I interested in reaching out to her for a novel deal. She became a public relations manager for Rebel Cheer, of all things. (Incredibly proud).

So I am back to Square one, that same square I was in 2013. The images I posted in 2014 won’t work. Then, GANs and deep fakes came along showing me the good side of tech. Thispersondoesntexist generated the pictures I needed.

I present to you Lorelei Breton Cetus and Tom Istan. Each looks as close to the actor or actress I chose to base the character off of. So moving forward this is what I will use.

I have images of Lee, Tyrion, Gwen, Portia, Shelly, Reagan, Aria, Chelsey, the Taft Babysitters club, Kent and Coach Delamort.  When I release Mythic Notes, I will release the images of all the characters.

I released these here because, I just sent to the publisher the combined volume of the first three books. This way anyone who wants to can read the books in chronological order. Considering I published Midnight Train Song shortly after Song of Betrayal in 2014, its been a long time.

As I said, its never been about money. This is all the marketing I will ever do unless someone famous discovers this one I get on TV and talk about it. And Yes, behind them is Booker Field. (for those smart enough to notice, I used Allen Eagle stadium 2012 shot).

The volume will be $17 and is 614 pages 6×9. The mock up looks beautiful. You get the sense of who each person is. Lorelei standing in the 3rd floor Taft High hallway and Tom with a swimming pool behind him.

Oh, I decided Operation Valkyrie succeeded. (Yes, Hitler got assassinated in 1944) This is what I get for watching the Plot Against America.   It’s good, watch it. Also, I highly suggest Westworld. They are scaring the f*** out of you again. This time without violence.

Finally, did a little research into how COVID-19 kills people. To TL;DR it, the assembly can’t get it because of their gills. The way hemoglobin works in them is just enough different that it can’t strip the oxygen out. Without that they become asymptomatic. (they don’t get colds either). They do get Ick though as I pointed out in Song of Hope.

Well, time to wrap this up. Just remember no matter what happens this year, my characters have it worse. Only a billion people crossed to the new world ( different reality set in the past. Yes, I said in Song of Hope its 30 million but, there is no promise I will stick to that until I actually write it. Now that I established that the Atlan also jumped realities, its easier to find an empty earth in modern times that simply had nothing.

Thoughts on the Bowling Green Massacre…

Well, I must first thank Kellyanne Connelly for the fictional massacre to motivate me to be creative. I needed a small push because things got away from me. This happened to be that push. Truth is you enver know what it takes to get you over the hump. Nevertheless, this will actually be an update on the stories and background.

So what is happening? Alot actually. First, I will actually have a ‘Bowling Green Massacre in 2011 just like she said but also with Fredrick Douglass (not the historical figure one though) . It fits the direction I am going and considering its a college town, there is ample opportunity. I however will use the mining pits outside the town for the brutal horror. Its better imagery.

Second, I have adjusted another location in Lafayette. While never actually revealing the physical location of Gwen and Aria’s houses yet in published works, I do have a Google earth map of the city that did have their actual locations on it. When I went to actually use this for a scene in Heartbeat song I realized that the area Aria was in was River Ranch, a newer subdivision.

This is fine for Gwen and the Bretons as they moved from Australia in the 1990s. Its not good for the Natals as the gate is supposed to be in a fixed location since 1780. There are no buildings in that area from that period and no reason for such as its the same Vermillion river just down stream. So I moved the Natal House to across the street from Cafe Vermillion which has been in existance since at least 1812.

The quick and dirty is that both buildings were built at the same time by Vann’s Grandfather who was a Laurents. In all the stories I have included Shelly, Aria’s mother in, I have never revealed her actual last name only her house name. Laurents is a french name and blends into the fabric of the city better. Also a quick explanation of the house etc is in the story as well.

This brings me to the fact that as I am working on Heartbeat song I ran headlong into another issue. If there is an school shooting that envolves IEDs and massive causalities the hospitals in Lafayette can’t handle it. Without Charity and the other LSU hospitals ion New Orleans, the Primary trauma 1 hospital was in Sherveport or Houston. (Yes I am aware they did assign one post Katrina but it was ill-equiped to actually handle the load)

So I was left with solving that problem. First I figured I would upgrade the hospital, Lafayette general. Yet it would not be capable as the population wouldnt justify it. (I squeaked by with Forest Hills because of LSU and the CajunDome and making Booker Field old. This would be handwaving the solution away)

That left New Orleans. While Baton Rouge is closer. New Orleans is larger and up until Katrina had one of the Best hospitals in the country there: Charity Hospital. When I discovered why Charity was permanently closed (I won’t elaborate here other than to say LSU greed, however that overlooks alot of side issues) I decided to save the hospital. Doing so allows you all to actually meet Tyrion Cetus so when he dies in Song of Redemption, it will have meaning (like how Lorelei’s does now). Haven’t worked out all the plans yet but it envolves preventing the hospital from flooding during the MR-GO, Industrial canal, and London Avenue canal breechs. Something involving hard light constructs.

Most people were unaware (outside of the residents who were very much aware) that almost the entire city flooded from the canal breachs except the French quarter. Charity was in the CBD near the Superdome. Yet its basement and some of the first floor flooded.

Keeping the hospital fully operational (by revealing exactly how the Assembly handles Natural disasters) will allow it to remain into 2007 and on into my 2017. I will use the upgraded plans for the Hospital for my now timeline. It also means I will have a crap load of lifeflights from the attack as the criticals will be handled there. Thats the idea.

Finally, the Faking It! connection is gone as it will take too long to fully integrate into my world. I am keeping what I worked on in Heartbeat song but the fan fiction will be just that. Amy’s existential crisis of looking like Lorelei when she feels the exact opposite was in a fun challenge yet it detracted from where I am going with the story.So no Amy or Karma in my world anymore. Sorry.

I view Heartbeat Song be the connection to Song of Betrayal without actually tying into it. It will end the first series (which had Lorelei as the main character and Gwen as a minor character) yet open the path for Gwen to become the woman she is in Song of Betrayal.

Finally after this and finishing the editing of Song of Redemption, I will beack to open creation as that will finish the second series. (Song of Betrayal, Song of Redemption, Homecoming Song). Christmas circle is a follow up on A view from the street and not tied to the main story even though it has Tom in it.

The final 3 books (or next three depending on if I have more story) will take place in 2016 with the ressurrection of Lorelei, Gwen being queen and a musician like Becky, who at the time of this post, just finished singing at Club Nomatic in Houston.

The Gyre and the bikini girl

This will be a brief update to let you all  know where everything is. Today, Song of the gyre is being released to the publishers. It should be available before next week for a dollar. Even though its 4th, its the second chronological book. Its funny that I ended up doing my series like CS lewis did Chronicles of Narnia. (with a different chronological order than printing order).

Since Song of the Gyre directly follows Midnight Train song, I am posting it here as well for you all to read free. I know its been a year since I posted a story here. Sorry about that. Sadly its the last of the Lorelei and Shae stories for a while. I do promise that the arc isn’t finished. You will see both again.

The Christmas story is called ‘A Karmic Karmy Christmas’. While I said Tom and Gwen would be in it, I decided that it would be better without them. It will only include those who were on Faking It!. Yes its set in college, yes it follows my post canon storyline so Tom, Gwen are still involved.

The plot revolves around Amy becoming who she is supposed to be and the challenge that brings. Her and Karma are struggling because Karma is away alot to launch her career and as much as they love each other, being adults is harder than each thought. You again she Amy be the rebellous strong person she is having spirited convos with Shane and Liam about why everything is the way it is.

I will be using my realitys history so don’t be shocked if certain people are dead, doing other things or dont exist. As promised, neither Stein, Clinton, Trump or Johnson will be president. I haven’t picked who is yet, but no it won’t be Jack and Bobby as I mentioned before. I dont have the shows.

Following the completion of thats story is Heartbeat song then Song of Restoration. This should get me through to the end of the year. Heartbeat song is the last of the Taft high stories. Song of Restoration will be the sixth in chronology. I havent decided if it will be the last as there is a final gap of a year before Gwen becomes Taylor Swift’s dark twin. (equal is power, potential, sales and verve).

This leads us to Bikini Girl. She isn’t a character in my novels or on a tv show. She is very much real. Her name is Morgan Willett and she needs your vote. On the reality show Big Brother over the top, she has been playing a mental endurance game with 10 other people including her sister Alex. Over the course of 70 days, they done endurance challenges, puzzles, memory challenges and athletic challenges all with the goal to stay safe for the week or get voted out.

Today is day 69 of 70. She is one of the final three. There are alot of people out there who are supporting a man who was on the show before and failed. A man who had let him mouth get ahead of his skills and who rode others to victory. People want to give him the final prize: $250,000

I believe Morgan deserves it more. She has managed to win safety once and the ability to remove herself from eviction twice. She stayed loyal to her alliance and made friends in ‘the house’ (studio 18 of CBS studio city). She is a mental warrior, loyal, nurturing, beautiful, brilliant and trusting. In one sense, she is alot like Lorelei.

The path forward and behind

As I have worked on this series,  I have discovered several things I have wanted to integrate in. From changing Lorelei from a passive character to the incorporation of Reagan Dawn to the development of Taft high, I have strived to make a better story.

Each story has been better I feel than the last. Holes have been filled. Gaps in the narrative that have been filled with stories that illuminate paths. I feel that each has been a journey that is a destination leading to another.

Yet, as I continue I discovered the is no established order you all know. If you go to Barnes and Noble or Amazon (Sorry, that print bound is so high that’s them not me.)  I have 3 books for sale that are in a specific order. That’s not really the order I wanted, I discovered today.

So here is the order I have settled on. This won’t change. I will make a total of nine books/slash stories. Some won’t be for sale in bound form, others will. The current order is for bound form. So to begin:

First set of three is: Songs of the fall

1. Midnight train song
2. Song of the Gyre
3. Heartbeat Song

These songs revolve around Lorelei. How she mets Tom, her life at Taft High, her opposition and ultimately her sacrifice which is fulfills part of the ‘Restorer of the breach’ prophecy.   Midnight train song is available now. I am currently working on Song of the Gyre. Its a version of the glee fan fic ‘Center cannot hold’ however it doesn’t follow the same plot. Center Cannot hold is a wrapper for episode 2 of glee. This isn’t.

Song of the Gyre deals with Shae Nyx and her opposition of Lorelei because she is jealous of her. She has Kent but treats with contempt. She sees her a queen bitch who has everything and doesn’t care about anyone. Shae figures that if she topples her and steals Kent she will get want she wants.

Lorelie on the other hand, sees Kent as a small minded person polluted by the lies of the warriors of Dagon and needs to separate from him. Its hard because she wants a boyfriend to lean on. When Shae challenges her, she uses that to her own advantage and lets her take Kent. During all this she gets the first sides of the coming attack on the school however she has no clue what part she will play.

HeartBeat Song deals with the actual attack on Taft High. In later books like Song of Betrayal and Homecoming song this is refernced at the Taft High massacre. (which happened 4 days before Virigina Tech making it the worst week for school deaths in US history.) This story starts with Lorelei in first person POV but finishes with Tom’s POV. You see how he meets people he associates with in later novels including Brad from Faking It.

It will be the darkest book I will write. It will detail how truly bad the warriors of Dagon are and how they came to be. It will have some lovecraftian elements in them but I decided that there is no Cthulu in my reality at leats not in the sense of a sentient deity. A sentient being yes. Even the dolphin are sentient in my reality so why not octopi?

I have several pages of it done, but put it on pause to do song of the gyre which I though would simply be an edit of Center cannot hold. It took a life of its own which ultimately is a good thing.

The second set of three: Siren songs

1. Song of Betrayal
2. Song of Restoration
3. Homecoming Song

These set of stories revolve around Gwen who hasn’t been a main character in the first group. In fact, what you see of Gwen is her pre-massacre personality which as mix of grace and raw force. She’s much more aggressive and harsh because she feels everything can be solved with a song.  She has yet to see the error of this path as her mirror, Aria, isn’t in her life yet.

All three of these books have been written. Song of Betrayal and Homecoming Song are available to read now. As for Song Of Restoration, it is awaiting the final edit which I will do once I finish writing HeartBeat Song.

The third set of three: Songs of Hope

I actually haven’t settled on the titles for these yet so I am not going to pull up titles that eventually won’t be used. Nevetheless, these stories will revolve around the fulfillment of the ‘restorer of the breach’ as well as the final end to the warriors of Dagon. You will see Gwen as a successful musician on par with Taylor Swift & Ella Fitgerald. These are also the stories that will reveal the differences between this world and ours.

There are significant differences outside of Gwen’s path and the fact mermaids exist. I have elaborated on several. There are more I haven’t. Once I publish Song of Restoration, I will have a better idea exact what changes are doable without making the general stream hard.

Sadly, ceratin individuals I would like to remove would alter the timeline too much for my taste so I have to leave them be. Others aren’t so lucky. As I have said before, There is no Kayne West, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus in my 2016 for various reasons I have established. All have had opportunies that have led them to success or survival. Flip the coin (rescue the label or apply a little more impact in the car crash) and they aren’t there.

Another example is NWA. Without Gerald E. “Jerry” Heller, they wouldn’t have formed. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam meaning he was drafted in 1958 when he turned 18. If he was killed while serving, there you go. Eazy-E would have founded Ruthless records alone and it wouldn’t have survived. Eventually him and dr. Dre would end up in jail.

As of this point, I haven’t settled on NWA. They don’t interfer with Gwen’s path. I perfer to not deviate if I dont have too. Besides Heller early death doesn’t just affect Eazy-E, it effects  Elton John and Pink Floyd too.

Also, there are several other stories that are outside this group of 9. Like the stories involing Aria’s mother, the ones involving Amy and Karma and those in previous eras. These build the background and bring lit to other areas.

The hard truth

Hello, everyone. First of all thanks everyone for coming and seeing this page even if its for Faking it and not neccessarily for my stories. My hope is after you see the Faking it items you stay and read the stories and buy them. That’s what we all want, not just me.

This brings me to to Faking it. There is something everyone, including myself has ignored. We all love great stories. We all love our favorite actors and actresses, showwriters and authors. However, they have the need to be paid too. This isn’t going to be a screed about copyright, IP etc. Nope. My beliefs on that subject don’t belong here. Nor do anyone elses.

Over the course of time since I proposed the kickstarter I have done research on it. I discovered several details I will share. Before I do, I need to make something clear that I didn’t before. I can’t lead the charge. Kickstarter needs a person or company to have a bank account on file for the money.You aren’t paying them, you are paying the person who launched in exchange for access, gifts, perks etc.

I don’t want you to pay me.  I honestly don’t want that responsibilty. Plus, I don’t have the time to shepard this. I have very personal life issues that take presedence over this show, over my writing and other things I value. These have to be addressed. So I apologize if I gave the presumption that I would do the kickstarter. The I, ‘I’ meant was the faking family as a whole. Not me.

I wanted you to know it could be done and what to do. So here is what I learned:

1. If Netflix etc doesn’t take on Faking it as a orginal, the only course left is that of self production. This isn’t simply hard. Its monumentally hard for someone who isn’t in the industry. There is SAG to deal with, contracts, sets, cinematography, makeup, wardrobe, lighting and scripts. Above all else we would need production rights. Those belong solely to Viacom. A contract would have to be signed. One that involves purchasing those rights.
2. Without anyone else, the kickstarter would have to either go the route of Anaxar (do it as a fan film production with the possiblity of seriously angering Viacom) or going the route of actually buying the catalog from Viacom (parent of MTV). Doing this means effectlvely removing all 38 episodes  from them to where? A website someone would have to run 24/7. It would eat serious bandwhich with is also lots of money. this website would have to handle the streaming of the videos in multiples. I have a background in computers. This alone costs $1000s.
3. I believe the catalog would be worth 3 million if I am correct. I have tried to get a straight answer, no one either actually knows or simply wont answer. However, based what I know from friends who do make stuff and what I have seen, Its would cost about $50 grand per episode.That breaks down to $2500 a minute. Why do you think that most online only items like Verizon’s sposnsored ‘Relationship Status’ was on 7 minutes long. (If you love Rita watch them)
4. This isn’t impossible. I just lack the skill or resources to do it myself. Thats why I posted it on my wordpress blog. In hopes people like you and others who do have the resources, live in Hollywood or have contacts can help. I live in Houston, trying to get a job in the aviation or computer industry. Right now I work for a big box chain.

This is where you all come in. Of the people I have talked too about this, most are upset that show is gone and that they want a finish. Few want a book, they want at least a movie or another season. Ok, I agree. How much DO YOU want that movie?  Many have asked what can they do to help? Here you go:

1. If you have a netflix account, go to their customer care and tell them you think they need to have Faking it as a part of their lineup. They are listening intently about this. If they see an audience and believe it will help their bottom line, they will take it. Even if its just to rub MTVs nose in failure. People need to keep pressure on them and they will agree. The thunderclap was a success. However, pressure needs to be maintained. Otherwise, it fades away.
2. Search for faking it on netflix. This is a trackable metric to them and it counts.
3. If you know someone who works in the movie industry, ask them about shows, collect information. Faking it is cheap to produce because its basically just five peoples lives. The wardrobe was from Forever 21 and other mall based stores. The hardest part is getting Bailey, Michael, Gregg, Rita (who apparently hates social media) and Katie in one place. If you know someone who has a SAG-AFTRA account that would be a plus because that would be needed to contract Rita and Gregg’s agents. (the rest are on social media and love the community and support this. This is not to say Rita and Gregg don’t they are just silent about it)
4. Kickstarters need concrete details. http://ift.tt/WQMZvj shows what can be done and how expensive it was. Thats without rights. The show will be impossible to do with Rita and Katie. So both have to be on board or its all for naught.
5. http://ift.tt/1U5rCk8 This article also shows what a kickstarter can do. “The 30-day campaign to raise the funds launched May 17. It had raised $255,853 from 3,273 backers as of 1 p.m. on Saturday, its 17th day.” Note that: 3,273 people raised $255,853 dollars for  Kickstarter Lullaby 
6. Go to that link above, it is the best example of what is being done. Exmaple and ask yourself how much can you afford?  The largest backing group pledged $50.
7. This brings this back to me. I have nothing to offer Faking it related.All of it belongs to MTV.

This is my last post on Faking it. I completed my short story ‘We saw the dream’ and its on Wattpad and Fanfiction.net I might after everything in my life has settled add on. I set it so if I want to or need to I can. However, it works as a much better ending that the one given. No cliffhangers. Why can’t I right more about Karma and Amy now? Outside of rights issues, there are in 2016. My stories are in 2007-2010. I might in the future, just not now.

I turn this over to all of you to make the dream real. Push hard. Be prepared to give up time, effort and money. Use those connections you have. To save Faking it you need a team. However, I can’t be a part of that team anymore. I will be there in spirit though.

Quick update on everything

Ok, I kinda broke my nothing outside of the story reality rule on the last post. I really needed to post in an area where everyone could see and get an idea how to move ahead to hopefully save Faking it! Its a good show and it deserves to finish.

This brings me to the topic:

1. Right now MTV studios on both coasts are being sent postcards to the executives to protest the cancelation. Also, the fanbase has alerted Netflix that it thinks Faking It! should continue. Pleasantly, Netflix has been receptive and communicative. They have always taken bold risks especially around House of Cards and Orange is the new black. So this would be leaving 3 million in revenue on the table. ( 0.3 share = 300000 people watching. $10 a piece in subscription fee is 3 million.) Assuming the asking price for the catalog is then it’s break even with the potential for more. We are awaiting their formal response.
2. Hulu on the other hand has basically said they are unsure. Viacom has informed people who I am in contact with that its basically all or nothing with other groups. So the other groups would have to buy the catalog if they are outside the family.
3. Freeform is owned by disney and has rejected any offers. CW has no space and also rejected interest.
4. The kickstarter is still active but I and the others are waiting until its the final option before presuing it. Why? WE would have to form a shell company, convince Viacom that we only want rights to create a 2 hr movie. (effectively 6 episodes). IP licencing would be involved for specific individuals who write, create etc.
5. Finally, if all that fails, then I will integrate them into here formally in a series of free stories to resolve their outstanding arc. I will fullfil the promise Carter made and do his arc because I like it. The only real difference is it will be a world filled with mermaids
6. Right now on the story front, I am doing Amy’s journal. That is a series of 1000 word posts in her voice that are basically a journal of her thoughts on a subject. Right now its dealing with the last canon issue which is forgiveness of Sabrina and Karma’s house burning down. There will be one more dealing with the rest of episode 10 then its back to working on Heartbeat song and Song of Restoration.
7. Amy and Karma actually helped me fill a missing piece. Amy is now and allows me to keep seeing how Tom and Gwen would be now so I can do more foreshadow and developement of them with a eye to the future. Amy looks and acts like Lorelei and this spooks her but in a good way. It tells her she can be anyone she wants. It validates her no labels mantra.
8. This also helps me flesh out Lorelei so her scenes are stronger. Lorelei isn’t Amy but she kinda has most of the same traits. She chose athletics rather than art because she could see everything if she looked hard enough.
9. To sum up, I am in a holding pattern for Faking it! until everyone else decides their course. If Netfix takes it then I am back to where I was with MTV. Mostly unconnected fanfics that are there but not apart of the main body. Otherwise 40,000 words of Karma and Amy and Lauren, Shane and Liam.

Saving Faking it

Ok, so today it was announced by Viacom that Faking it wasn’t renewed because it had such poor ratings according to them. They said that only 330,000 people watched this season. Regardless of the reasons, there is an outpouring of people who don’t want it to die.

I am one of them. However, we can be angry or we can solve this problem. I have a solution as do others. However, I can’t do this alone. My voice here and on line is small because I write. I am not famous. This is a controversial subject that generates backlash.

Nevertheless, this is what I propose and what I plan to do.

I will start a kickstarter to move the rights to us. Apparently people don’t understand what rights mean or simply don’t believe its possible. They are wrong.

1. MTV/Viacom owns the rights. The rights are the ability for Katie and Rita to be Karma and Amy, the names of the places like the ‘brew and chew’, Hester Hight etc. This does include the distribution of the show and the media itsself.
2. We don’t need that. We need the right to make more of Faking it and the right to use the intellectual  property which is exactly what Faking it is to the people who run Viacom.
3. Right now, I believe the writers of Faking Dan steele etc and carter have ideas and plans for Faking it. However, they work just like the guy at the mcdonalds, starbucks target Forever 21 does. This was their job and they were all fired effectively. So this could mean they would be rehired to finish or it can mean we get their stuff only.
4. This isn’t an easy thing I am suggesting. Its a hard, expensive thing That could cost hundreds of thousands. I know that sounds intimidating. But numerous other shows have been produced on Kickstarter. The best example is Veronica Mars. 5. So we need to collect the money and then a person we all trust can go to talk to MTV and sign rights transfer documents that would have MTV effectively sell the rights we need to a company that we the fans own.
6. I can set up the kickstarter page and be the tip of the spear but I would need assurances this is a waste of my time.
7. So what needs to be done and how much would it cost?  That depends on what we want? Do you want one final 20 minute (thats how long the show is without commercials) show that gives us #karmy? Or do you want a book?
8. A show requires the sets and clothes, cinematographers etc plus paying Katie and Rita for their time,. This requires scripts to be written and scenes to be show. This would be in the neighborhood of $100,000. (check the axanar link)
9. A book would require significantly less Like $10,000 to secure the publishing rights to use names and locations. I have no issue doing that myself. However, I would be willing to defer to others would be willing to do so. (thoughts on this later down)
10. Once the money came in then the shell holding company can post the video on Youtube so everyone can see and prizes can be had.

Ok, thats all I can really explain. I haven’t heard back from Carter on how much an episode actually cost. I believe it was $45,000. I am going to set up the Kickstarter but I dont want to do that until I have an idea where the money goes. That money has to have a bank account to go into and it can’t be my personal one. This would be you alls money and I am not like that. You are all family.

So here is what I need. I need responses. I need you to comment on what you are willing to do. We need people to are skilled in these areas. People who live in LA. I have 860 following me. I have 50 people who read my fan fic.  The truth is I don’t have the resources to do this alone. I can barely get my own stuff done because its so damn expensive.

MTV doesn’t think anything will change. They don’t care because they know money runs everything so we need to step up. Give up that frappucino or that pair of jeans to support the show.

This here is the saddest part. If nothing changes then I will still continue to include Amy and Karma into my stories. However, they won’t be in any story that I publish for profit. I will create a short story that will effectively wrap up what Carter et all were doing. It will live on Fanfiction.org so you all can read it but thats the best I can offer.

Song of Betrayal can be heard

This is a quick note to let everyone know that Song of Betrayal, that book I am been going on about since I started this blog is finally out. Click the title for the barnes and noble location. I am on Itunes , Kobo , Scribd (where the free documents are stored), Inktera , and 24 symbols as a $1 ebook. (1.99 on itunes as the extra 99 cents is their markup). I get half of this $ as royality.

Its on amazon as well through a diffrent publisher who handles paperbacks. Unfortunately its 269 pages and without all those discounts that big name publishers put on novels, it costs Blurb $32 so it sells for $59. (which is insane as I make NOTHING off it). If you don’t have a amazon visa card and sign up for it they will shave that $50 and give it to you for $9.

New stories in the pipeline. If you are interested in Fan fiction, I reactivated my fanfiction story account and am posting Amy’s journal pages after each episode. (although their won’t be another one until after Faking it! S3E10.

Also more maps. If I make enough I might publish an ebook of maps.

Next stories are Song of Restoration and Heatbeat Song (which will have Lorelei right up to her collaspe the week of the Taft High Massacre). Heartbeat song is first person and I am toying with the idea of making Song of restoration that too. However, Its doubtful because it would delay it for 6 months where as I could get it out by August if I do the final edit.

Brief update

Ok, sorry for the delay. The move took time and that delayed other things, like this.
However, I am still creating. I have a new story set now that involves everyone. Its an update of ‘View of the street’ and its Christmas themed.

Also, I made some more Wikipedia entries. These involve the Grammys. Specifically the 52md on up to now. Song of Betrayal and Song of Reformation (yes I finally named the last half)are set in May 2009 to September 2009. However, Gwen’s first song doesn’t drop until November. That puts her into the 2011 Grammy award period. Nevertheless, I digress.

I hope these Grammy Wikipedia pages (and actual Grammy pages) serve as info tidbits while I finish the story.

Finally, I want to establish a list of all the artists who have been removed from the Assembly reality so there is no confusion when the material is read. This will help me edit and you understand.

1. Katy Perry. As I have said before, her original contract with Pamplin stands as Pamplin was saved from default in 2000. Therefore no pop music from her in 2008, as she would be actively making christian music.
2. Justin Beiber. Codified in the new story what I always wanted. I used the Michael Cote is a pedo and masquerading as Justin Beiber. In fact him and Aria are friends and he writes music for her. If you say the most recent Grammys, then you saw him win for the first time (technically it was in the preshow but there you go). That would be Aria here.
3. Kanye West. He’s been an embarrassment for a while to Taylor Swift and others. However, he wasn’t a problem until the business of dissing her in his new album. So while looking for a way to remove him cleanly, I was handed the most interesting trivia. On Oct. 22nd 2002, he was in a near fatal car accident.I decided that it should have been fatal so in Assembly reality it was. So rather that the 21 Grammys he got a simple 5 second picture flash during the ‘in Memoriam’ of the 45th annual Grammy Awards as a record producer.

There are others that I haven’t finalized, So I will share those when I make the definite list. Its small, for my sake. Every change makes things harder.

Finished chapter 7 so I am now into water scenes again. Close to finishing the first half (ie song of Betrayal) and will have it up and available by midyear.
