Ok this is delayed, but o well. I have available on the Slexchange replicas of the Fuwa. They are the five olympic mascots of the Beijing Games. Also available is the official shirt (it is a white T-shirt with the logo on it) I made the torch but do to permissions it couldnt be sold on the slexchange so it is available at the main location only.
Speaking of the main location, it is now more Christian ministry based and less store. It looks more greco-roman in style and allows more freedom. This is because I personally find that it takes more effort to get things for the shop for less traffic than at the exchange. So you will see more of what I see available there rather than in world.
I ma trying to make a olympic basketball and volleyball as well as a bucket hat worn by those working the games themselves (if you have been there or seen the pics you will know what I am talking about)
Finally, I finally distanced myself from the old core. When I first started SL, I found it to be lonely and dull. Then I found Second citizen. They were an elecletic group of individuals. All creative but mostly filled with issues. We didnt get along but I let it slide because SC was a free for all. Then it died. we all moved to different locations. I moved to Twitter (after proding) and Sluniverse. The move to SLuniverse in retrospect was a bad idea. Nevertheless, I did.
Then I spent little time there. However back in the SC days I offered to help someone distribute something I thought they made. I even promised to make my own.
But as you see the amount I actually blog, things lead away from this and I lost track of mine. It got deleted lost etc when I changed laptops. Her shirt got bagged as mine and I sold it on the exchange as mine accidently.
Well a week ago she discovered this. And instead of Direct messaging me on Twitter and resolving it peacefully. (it wasn't mine and I pulled it down and deleted it as soon as I discovered that) she exploded it everywhere and held me up as an example of the texture thieves. So I basically to Christino is he didn't kill the thread, I would sue him. He did but only after banned me for life.
Sadly, none of them with the exception of two were ever anything but passing people who I was aware of. So I am happy to be free of their darkness. They could have been a force for change in SL. They had the chance being there in the beginning but they wanted their walled garden and only their walled garden. So there incessant complaining, hatred and general behavior lead then away from the mainstream. I personally never belonged there. So I let them matter drop. So if you saw the insanity unfold on twitter or SLU, you know. Iris thought she could mess up the rest of my work by copy pasta. It failed epically. It was removed and I am selling the Fuwa well.
I perdict that most of SLU will be done with SL by 2010. To achieve Phillips vision it has to disneydown and simpify. It will done because it is profitable.
Having Goreans chains does not help telepresence or promote meetings anymore than Dark Knight helps the olympics. But They don't exist in the same world either. The goreans do. And they pay money into the economy so they will be around just hidden.
